Mummy Halloween Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here and today I am back with another adorable Halloween card using Victorine OriginalsHalloween Kids stamp set.
I stamped that cute little mummy on newsprint paper with black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I die cut ovals to create a focal point for it.  They are popped up with foam tape.
In the bottom right corner I stamped a sentiment from the Halloween Kids set and embossed it with white embossing powder.  The last thing I added was enamel dots on the banner.
Here is a full look at that awesome Halloween Kids stamp set:

Testing out some new products

I am so excited to be here with you today! Not only do I get to play with the amazing Victorine Originals and Raisin Boat stamp sets, but today I'm also going to show you some of the awesome other products that have now been added to the online store! As soon as you're done reading this post, head over there and get some - you won't be disappointed!

I had a page kit that I needed to put together, and I knew that these new products were the perfect match.

The first product I used was the Memento Dew Drop 4-pack of Inks. The dew drop shape is so handy for inking all the edges of whatever shape I had. It made quick work of my duck, rain drop and water splatters. I used colors from multiple sets as I like the ink to coordinate with the paper.

When I make a page kit, the layout just looks so much better when I doodle or outline the elements and the pictures.

I think this layout is even one step better because I outlined with the super cool Kirarina Wink Glitter Markers. I think I must have all the colors now!

I went around the edge of the duck, but then I added some squiggles (technical term there) to certain parts to give the duck more life. With the rain drops and splatters, I used multiple colors to make the water "reflect" the duck. I also outlined all the letters in the title and around the pictures.

Can you see (believe) how well these glitter pens do on EVERY color of cardstock and patterned paper I tried? It was amazing! I am totally hooked. Go visit my Halloween Mood Board creation to see how they pop off the page when used on black cardstock - it's amazing! (Link is below)

After assembling my layout, I added one extra perfect product for this layout! To make the water seem more realistic, I used the blue Pearl Pen to put water droplets all over my page! Look closely and you can see some on the water splatters and the duck.

I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do! May your day be full of crafty goodness!

Boo! from me....

Hello & Happy Thursday Everyone!
Theresa here from Theresa's Crafty Creations
and it's my day to take over the blog!!

YAY for me... 🙌

I thought I would show you a FUN
Halloween Treat box I made for my son -

He's to old to go trick or treating (according to him)
so I thought I would surprise him with a treatbox
that he can enjoy without leaving the house! LOL

I thought the Vampire was perfect for my son!
I'm using the totally adorable Halloween Kids Stamp Set
there are (6) different images in this set and a couple
different sentiments as well -- they're all so cute! -

I started out with some Scrap Halloween Cardstock from DCWV
and a treat box die - The box was pretty simple to make
I needed to cut 2 halves out and adhere them together
to make the box - both sides have a little window so
I put 2 tiny pieces off acetate on the inside of my box
This way the candy won't fall out!

I colored my Vampire with my Zig real brush pens
on some watercolor paper then cut it out with my
Brother Scan N Cut machine - I attached the little
guy to the front of my box - Then took another
Scrap piece of paper and Stamped the sentiment
on it using some Memento Tuxedo Black ink -
then I found a stitched tag die that would fit
around my sentiment, die cut it out, made a small
hole at the top of it so I could put an orange eyelet thru -
Found some FUN Trendy Twine and put it through my
Tag and holes in the box and made a bow --

Now it's ready for some candy!!!

Thanks for your kindness..

Good Morning,

Today is my day to take over the Victorine Originals Blog. In keeping with the "Harvest" theme I chose to use Pumpkins On A Vine for my inspiration today.

Card Recipe:
Pumpkins were stamped onto a piece of patterned paper using a rust colored ink and then a green pencil was used to give a lil color to the vines and leaves. 3 strips of different colored washi tape were applied to a piece of kraft colored cardstock then I used a stitched edge rectangle die to cut down the layer for an A2 sized card base. I used a sentiment from Elegant Sayings that I embossed in gold embossing powder at the bottom

~

Don't forget there is still time to enter your "Harvest" themed projects into our challenge...
Head on over to the Victorine Originals blog and check out their challenge post. You have a few days left to enter your project/s that follow this theme. They do not have to use Victorine Originals stamps on them. We can't wait to see what you create!
I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Thank you for visiting today and have a great day!

Mixed Media Fall Tag

Mixed Media Fall Tag

Hey Crafty friends
Amy here with a neat tag I made using
Victorine Originals
Bird Cages stamp 74843-K

I recieved some crafty fun mail with new products I was dying to use.
So i had to jump right in and play.
We are always excited when we recieve Happy mail.
I started off by using Gesso on my tag to seal it.  I then added modeling paste using a stencil to get a wonderful texture.
I painted and used an opal magic wax to color and bring out the texture.
I stamped only using one of the bird cages from this stamp.
I was trying to be a little different.
These Bird cages are Beautiful.
I distressed the edges of the paper around the bird cage by ripping the paper and then adding Tim Holtz distress Ink.

I used my punches to punch out leaf shapes.
The one leaf you have to attach to a solid paper for the backing. I decided to wrap a peice of wire around it to add a new touch.
I cut the butterfly out of a banner I had.
Added a lil color and gems to make it sparkle. I then added everything to my tag and arranged them. I added flowers to make it pop and be more fall like.
The flowers were a perfect color.

For all the details and a list of products used go to my blog at thetigerhaven
My tag can also be used as more inspiration for our challenge going on right now.

Here is the amazing and fun Mood Board

Isnt it fun?
You can use anything to inspire you from the board.
A picture, a color, an object in a picture or even the theme we added to this one, Harvest.
So much to inspire you
Go over and join in the fun HERE.
Link up your project by Friday

Fall Gratitude

Hello everyone Heather here,

It is my turn to post over on the Blog today and  I am absolutely in love with this Pumpkins on a Vine stamp set and even more so when I emboss it with gold powder. It is so elegant and pretty.  This card is a one layer card and I could not be more happy with how it turned out.  There is always something as a crafter you shy away from, and one layers are mine.  So I started by cutting my A2 sized card base with solar white Neenah card stock and made it a side folding card ( I thought it would be easier to manage, but looking back I think a top fold would have been fine as well) I stamped my Pumpkins on a Vine (2587) towards the right side and in the top third of the card with versafine (clear) ink and then sprinkled my embossing powder on and heat set. I then stamped my image again onto a full sticky post-it note and cut it out to use as a mask. I then masked the image and a strip along the card stock and using Distress Oxide inks in Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade I inked the strip that would be my focal point.  Once done with inking I peeled off the tape and mask and water colored the pumpkins using my Zig Real Color brush pens and my clear spectrum noir glitter pen.  I love using the glitter pen to "water color" as it gives the areas so much shimmer and shine and works like a charm.

When done I took out the beautiful sentiment stamp from Victorine Originals, Heaven on Earth and stamped in versafine and heat embossed with gold embossing powder to match the pumpkins.  I love the wording on this sentiment and love how pretty it looks in gold.  The card was pretty quick and very simple and I love how it turned out.  I hope you enjoy.
See you all soon!

Welcome Autumn

Hi, everyone and happy Friday! Lisa from The Relativity of Paper sharing a card featuring the Victorine Originals Pumpkins On Vine

This card is so easy to create.  I stamped the image using Memento Ink Espresso Truffle, Toffee Crunch, Rich Cocoa, and Potter's Claying using the multi color stamping technique. I added little metallic gold watercolor to the leaves and small areas of the pumpkins. Add fun foam to the back of card panel and adhere to cardbase.

As always thanks for joining us today.

Confirmation Card

Hello all!  Beth from Beth's Beauties here to share a Confirmation card.  I used colors from the Victorine Originals mood board challenge to create it!
I started by taking a long acrylic stamping block and smudging Distress Inks in Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade, and Mustard Seed on it.  I then generously spritzed that with water, flipped it over onto a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper and let it set for 5 minutes with a heavy book on top of the acrylic block.  The colors are so vibrant and beautiful!
When that was totally dry, I stamped the VO Congratulations on your Confirmation stamp onto it using Versafine Onyx Black ink and my stamping tool. I embossed the sentiment with clear embossing powder.  I added a little bit of white gel pen in the flame as well.  For embellishments, I added Totally Black Trendy Twine and GMD Enamel Dots.

Remember, we have this mood board challenge going on right now! Here is the inspiration photo for it. You can use the pictures, theme, and/or colors to enter.

It's a great day to be a Bison!

I'm taking over the blog today to share this card I made showcasing my Bison pride!

I started subbing this week at the school and I wanted to let the teachers know how much I appreciate all their hard work. My husband is a teacher and a coach, and I know the sacrifices he makes in order to do his best job. Now that my daughter is in school - how is she in kindergarten already?!?; I'm realizing how much love the teachers give our children as well. I used to take baked goods to school - now I'm tired so they just get a card... probably not a very good trade-off. :)

To start with, I embossed the base of my card with a notebook paper folder - how perfect can you get? I love my little Sizzix texture boutique - it's so handy and perfect for cards!

Our school colors are green and gold (if you hadn't guessed that already). I sponged the outside of my card with gold ink, then added my Bison pride sentiment. This is a stamp from the same set of fund raiser stamps I shared on an earlier project - but I just can't get over how amazing they are! I know this set will get many, many uses as my children continue with school. Check out all the awesome stamps Victorine Originals & now Raisin Boat have to offer - you will definitely find something you can't resist!

After my sentiment was on (I used the MISIT - there is no way I could have stamped it so well over the embossed lines without it), I added some baker's twine (representing the red line on the notebook paper). Then I had fun with all the green & gold I could find. I sponged some chipboard Cs and some stars, then added some adhesive epoxy cirlces.

Thanks for checking out my latest project! What are you working on right now? I have two crops coming up in October - I can't wait to get caught up on some of my scrapbooking pages.

Our newest mood board just opened up on Friday. Have you seen it yet? It's beautiful. Who else is ready for fall? Check out the Harvest mood board and the rules and join us with your creations!

Happy crafting!
